Founded On 26th May 2012, In the memory of "KAVI 'KINKAR' RAM JI SHARAN VINDHYACHAL PRASAD JI" by "SHRI ARVIND KUMAR SINHA", VINDHYACHAL SEVA SANSTHAN is the executing arm of VISION CATALYST Group's worldwide CSR activities which works with the communities near business operations of the Vision Catalyst Group.
VSS is dedicated to the cause of humanity and is focused upon improving the Human Development Index by way of positioning itself as a parenting force of various Social Change Agents operating at the ground level. The Foundation has been the guiding force of the sustainable social development initiatives implemented by VISION CATALYST GROUP across its business locations. The CSR interventions are focused on enhancing the quality of life of the community in the vicinity of business locations by way of improving community healthcare and education, and also developing critical small civic infrastructures besides generating sustainable livelihood options, promoting sports, art, culture, health, and heritage.
The Sansthan has aligned its programs with the Government and other developmental agencies with the objective of bringing about a radical transformation in the lives of the communities and integrating them into the mainstream development process of the country. The Sansthan drives holistic community initiatives to help address some of the persistent social challenges in the realms of Healthcare, Water and Sanitation, Education & Skill Development, Infrastructure & Community Development, and Empowerment of Women.
VSS has launched a set of regional and national awards to recognize and nurture talent at the grassroots level, titled ‘Bagheswari Awards'. Apart from this, the Sansthan has instituted a unique initiative called 'Veena Smriti Yojana' where we are committed to enriching the lives of underprivileged people.
In the future, VSS has many big initiatives in the pipeline. We will be focussing on organizing drinking water pipelines for villages in the vicinity; initiating population stabilization initiatives; start healthcare programs related to health and hygiene of adolescent girls; strengthen micro-enterprise development through SHG initiatives, especially with respect to women empowerment vertical; build more toilets in the nearby villages and have open defecation panchayats as well as work for senior citizens and people with leprosy and disability.
VSS is also planning to set up the Sinha Centre for Arts, Culture, and Skill development to provide training in classical arts and technical skills to students. A residential facility spread over in acres, the centre will offer scholarships to underprivileged students. This will also enable the youth to develop their skills so that they can take up classical art and crafts forms as a career option in India as well as globally.
