An initiative

Mr. Arvind Kumar Sinha, the founder of Vindhyachal Seva Sansthan, who had been working in Ordinance Factory, Kanpur throughout his life, had a long awaited desire of Lakhraano’n Poojan during his job, but could never fulfill it due to the lack of money and busy schedules. Despite the lack of funds, he was always ready to support others financially and in every other possible way.

After his retirement in 2009, his 35-year awaiting wish was finally fulfilled and with the support from his son, Arvind ji organized Lakhraon’n Poojan in Harpurnag in 2011, in context of which he visited his village where he was inspired by the temple built by his grandfather Kavi Kinkar ji and other social work done by him including ‘Krishnayana”. Like Arvind ji, his grandfather Kinkar ji was a lifelong social worker who also got the Mahaabeer Mandir constructed. Inspired by his grandfather's biography, Arvind ji also devoted his life to his ever still standing dream of supporting others and went to the village where he founded Vindhyachal Seva Sansthan for social welfare on May 26, 2012.

Passing on the Baton

In order to support Arvind ji, a lifelong philanthropist, his family members and villagers joined hands following his footsteps and kept working as per his instructions and contributed in whatever way they could. Meanwhile, the construction of Hanuman temple started in the village, which was built till super structure while Arvind ji was with us.

Even after the saddening demise of Arvind ji, the family and the villagers continued to work for social welfare keeping his dreams alive. During the course of this time efforts were continued to get Kinkar ji's work “Shri Krishnayana” published.

The Road Ahead

The current motives of the Vindhyachal Seva Sansthan are to complete the temple construction initiated by Arvind ji and to take Kinkar Ji’s creation "Shri Krishnayana" to its rightful place. Also, while continuing the social welfare work in various countries, we urge you to join hands with us.
