Ancestral Legacy
Taking the great legacy of Kavi Kinkar Ramji Sharan Vindhyachal Prasad of 138 Glorious Years, forward VSS was founded in 2012 and has achieved many milestones since its inception, namely :
• Organized Biggest Religious Fest of Harpurnag village: One of the biggest ever Shiv Pujan, LAKHRAON, was organized by Shri Arvind Kumar Sinha on behalf of his family with full support from his brothers and sisters along with his friends and villagers which astonished the whole sphere of villages and communities in and around Harpurnag.
• Built Mausoleum in the Ancestral Garden: Since ‘Kinkar’ Ji, it had been a dream project for the family to build his tombstone to pay him a tribute. Generation after generation due to the lack of resources this dream could be fulfilled only until Arvind Kumar Sinha took charge of the Vindhyachal Seva Sansthan. He made sure that a tribute was paid to every ancestor of his family for which he got the tombstones erected in the ancestral garden from ‘Kinkar’ Ji to and in future he himself took final rest there in 2016.
• Temple Construction: Temple construction started in 2012 by Arvind Ji came to a stand-still after his demise until the RCC superstructure in 2016. The construction work resumed from the super-structure stage recently in the supervision of Arvind Ji's nephew to make sure that his long standing dream comes true. On 5th August 2020, a group of villagers led by Mr. Anshu Kumar decided to complete this pending mission of Shri Arvind Kumar Sinha ji along with villagers via Vindhyachal Seva Sansthan and the is work in progress. Vision Catalyst Group is working on the project evaluation for funds and further arrangements.
• Maintenance and Renovation of Mahabir Temple: Built by ‘Kinkar’ Ji in the 19th century, the Mahabir Temple in Harpurnag is an architectural masterpiece which over the span of more than a century has lost its beauty and shine to the test of time. Unlike many other historical architecture that are dismayed into soil after a certain time, it still stands tall being a matter of pride for all the villagers and worshippers by virtue of constant care given to it generation after generation. Renovation of the ancient Siddhpeeth Ram Janaki and Mahabir temple established in the 19th century by the poet Shri Ram Ji Sharan Vindhyachal Prasad ‘Kinkar’ and organizing religious gatherings and cultural programs by regional artists every Tuesday has been taken care of by the trust.
• Efforts to get "Sri Krishnaayana" Published: In 2017, during the visit of Shri Vivek Kumar Sinha, for paying respect to his late father on his first death anniversary, to his ancestral village, Harpurnag he came to know about all the history of the holy book, Shri Krishnaayana written by Kavi “Kinkar”. Hence, further the book has been handed over to him by his father’s elder brother, Shri Satish Kumar Sinha, the custodian of the family legacy and documentation. Adding to it, Shri Anshu Kumar arranged two historical meetings of Chairman of Vision Catalyst Group and the then Union Agriculture Minister of India in Motihari and New Delhi in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In New Delhi, Shri Vivek Kumar Sinha and Shri Anshu Kumar explained about the importance of getting this holy book published for the people of ‘Bihar’. Knowing the importance, the then Union Agriculture Minister of India pushed the case to the Prime Minister's Office and since then the matter is pending in National Book Trust of India. Continuous efforts have been made by Shri Anshu Kumar upon the directions of Shri Vivek Kumar Sinha for publishing the book. We are putting our best efforts to get the Legend published at the earliest.
• Holding the Prestige of Harpurnag: People of the village have been helped through their tough times in whatever way possible at public as well as the personal level. No help seeker has been turned down since the time of ‘Kinkar’ Ji and the trust has been following his footsteps with true dedication. The rural development has constantly been taken care of keeping in touch with the Gram-Panchayat.
